America stands at a pivotal moment in her history this week. While the pressure has been building for months, even years, we are at a serious crossroads, and the direction we take will either lead to a glorious reaffirmation of our Republic or a dismal descent into tyranny.
This isn’t the first rodeo for Lady Liberty. Students of history will recall the tenacity and courage of Thomas Jefferson when he wrote the Declaration of Independence that he knew would lead to a war against the tyrannical “Red Coats.” Dozens of patriots joined him, knowing that they were risking their lives and their fortunes for the cause of liberty.
Eighty years later, Lincoln emerged as the reluctant President and Commander in Chief of a divided country with less than 40% of the vote. Things were so tense right after the election that the Pinkerton Detective Agency had to accompany the president-elect everywhere he went because multiple plots against his life had been uncovered. This was before the days of the Secret Service, but Lincoln had to retain them throughout the war. And, as history records, he was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth early in his 2nd term, just 5 days after Lee surrendered to Grant at Appomattox Courthouse, effectively ending the Civil War.
Our Present Day Civil War
We are in a Civil War right now. The roots of the war, as in Lincoln’s day, are ideological. The weapons are different but no less threatening. While the South of the 1860’s sought to secede from the Union, making themselves the enemy of the state, this time the thrust of the battle is different. The hard left does no seek to secede from the United States. It seeks to overthrow the United States.
Our Present Day Lincoln
President Donald Trump shares many parallels with Lincoln. Both were outsiders. Both were ridiculed and called names. Both were despised by the establishment of both parties. Both have spines of steel and exceptional courage. Both were truth-tellers who were maligned as liars by the press. Both arose to office in the midst of an unprecedented national crisis.
We forget that Lincoln was in many ways a radical, outside-the-box president. He took measures at the time that today would be considered extreme–all in the name of preserving the union. Trump is derided as a maniac by a media and political establishment that has made a religious commitment to “political correctness,” which is nothing more than their preferred brand of group-think.
Our Union is in crisis right now. We have reached a critical tipping point. The next few weeks will either make or break Lady Liberty.
This is not a drill. It is real.
We cannot pretend that the United States of America just has just experienced a fair election. Nor can we pretend that our country is not under siege by enemies both foreign and domestic. In the past few weeks, through the heroic efforts of Sidney Powell and her team, plots by China, Iran and other hostile foreign actors to manipulate our electoral process have been uncovered. The lying media has tried to cover this up, but to no avail. A majority of Americans see what is happening, and understand the grave threat we face.
Furthermore, we have seen fellow Americans become traitors to our Democracy, willing to sell their souls to gain power. Perhaps most disturbing of all has been the capitulation of RINO politicians, who have played a role in attempting to legitimize the heist. No doubt, big money has played a role in all of this. Money talks, they say. But the way of treachery can have a bitter end–just ask Judas Iscariot.
Two Options to Save America
The first option at the President’s disposal is already upon us. Because of the hard work of the Team Trump legal team, some momentum has been established. It is a bittersweet momentum because the courts have been extremely obstinate and uncooperative thus far. Team Trump and associates have made 50 attempts to gain traction and suffered 50 denials by the courts, according to Brian Kilmeade. Yet the process has resulted in many truckloads of evidence and affidavits–enough to turn the election around.
The great Yankee manager Casey Stengel once said “Luck lies at the intersection of preparation and opportunity.” This week, it looks like Team Trump is experiencing some good luck, finally. Texas has filed a lawsuit against the Battleground States that is now on the docket of the Supreme Court. As the Epoch Times reported this morning:
“The election lawsuit filed by Texas with the Supreme Court has a good chance of success, according to Kevin Freeman, founder of Every Legal Vote Coalition, who said that judges in lower courts had dismissed cases for ‘rinky-dink’ reasons.
We believe that there are honest justices on the [Supreme] Court, and if presented proper legal arguments, and if they take time to look at the evidence, that they will clearly see the fraud that took place,” Freeman told Epoch Times affiliate NTD News.
If for some reason the Supreme Court decides not to hear the Texas case, and allows this heist to roll forward unchallenged, there is another option.
The second option is to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807.
The Insurrection Act empowers the president of the United States to deploy U.S. military and federalized National Guard troops to suppress civil disorder, insurrection, and rebellion. Section 252 of the Act, states:
“Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.”
Attorney Stephen B. Meister in today’s op-Ed for the Epoch Times does an outstanding job of explaining why and how President Trump should consider this option.
In a nut-shell, the act can be invoked long enough for the military to go in and seize the computers and all related evidence that is being withheld from the American people by the court system and crooked local officials. Then we can clear up this fiasco once and for all.
Meister’s case, given the circumstances we find ourselves in, is compelling. You can read his entire op-ed HERE.
